holy cow! where has the summer gone? i can't believe it's already almost august. time sure flies when you're having fun.
so just a quick update on our lives the last month...1) my best friend denene's bridal shower 2) ryan's cousin's wedding, 4th of july, and ryan's birthday all in the same week! 3) shaver lake with the lake family, which included a surprise baby shower for me! 4) denene's bachelorette party 5) happy 6 months to baby girl!
denene's bridal shower was awesome. i'm just so excited for her to be a bride one week from tomorrow! my little girl is growing up :)

i took ryan to la jolla for a night to celebrate his birthday and to enjoy some alone time. it was very relaxing!

we had an awesome time at shaver lake with 40 of my family members! our family is so scattered and we don't get to see each other as often anymore, so we had lots of fun catching up with everyone. my sweet cousin leslie also threw me a surprise baby shower, and boy was i surprised! all the girls in the family came and i had no idea why they yelled surprise when we walked in the door. someone had to finally say "it's for your baby shower" before i realized what was going on. it was a great surprise and i got a lot of adorable baby girl clothes. it's finally starting to feel real that we're going to have a little one in just over 3 months! anyway, i just want to say thank you to my wonderful family for the fun trip!
i also went to my very first dodger game (i'm an angel's girl). and it was for a special occasion...celebrating denene's last few days as a single woman! :)

welp, that about wraps it up for now. i'll post again after the big wedding next week! then it's off to lake powell with the brown family, then i go back to school for 7 weeks. i have a feeling it's all gonna go by so fast.
