Finley will be 3 months this Monday! Where has the time gone? We had another lactation appointment the other day and I saw 2 babies, both about 7 pounds, and I swore my baby was never that tiny...but she was! It's just so hard to remember it already. She is now about 12 pounds. She is growing and learning so fast. I feel like the luckiest mama in the world to have been able to spend the last 3 months at home with my little Finley bear. And I still get another 2+ months before I go back to school (sensitive subject). Anyway, she is talking and smiling all the time and it just never gets old! Most nights she sleeps 5-6 hour stretches, and sometimes even longer! Although she isn't a big fan of naps during the day, unless she's being held. But I won't complain if I'm able to get sleep at night like I have been. She has also found out how to suck on her hands and fingers and now spends all day doing that. Now if she can only soothe herself to sleep so she doesn't have to use me to do that. :)

December was a great month! Ryan officially became a business owner! I am so proud of him and nervous and excited for what the future has to hold for my businessman! We also blessed Finley at church and are very thankful to have had so many close friends and family be there with us. I feel so blessed to have such a loving, worthy husband and that he was able to bless our precious girl. That was a wonderful day!

 

 

We also had a fun Christmas with Ryan's family. We had a big sleepover Christmas Eve with his siblings. Finley woke up in a happy mood and got spoiled from her aunts, uncles and grandparents. Christmas's will only get better from here on out.

 We also learned some very exciting news! Finley will be getting a little boy cousin this summer! We are so happy for Greg and Neni!!


Speaking of new cousins, my cousin Carrie had her 6th baby in December...only 6 weeks after Finley was born! I think Finley Mae and Molly Mae are going to be the best of friends! :)

I guess it's safe to say that I'm obsessed with this girl. I can't tell you how many times a day I just look at her and think "how did I ever deserve this?" And the best thing is, I think she really loves me too. It's the most amazing feeling seeing her look at me and get the biggest smile on her face. I just hope I can say the same thing in 15 years when she becomes too cool for her mommy. But for now, I am enjoying every cuddle and coo as much as I can. And I can't leave daddy out, cause she's pretty intrigued by him too. Especially when he makes funny voices and makes up silly songs.
